John K. Bosen was born in Portsmouth, N.H. and received his B.A. from the University of New Hampshire in 1986. Attorney Bosen received his law degree from Suffolk University in 1989. He is a member of both the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar Associations. Attorney Bosen is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, District of New Hampshire, United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Throughout Attorney Bosen's professional career, he has served in numerous non-profit and volunteer capacities such as the Board of Directors of the Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, where he served as Chairman of the Board, the Board of Directors of the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church where he served as Parish Council President, the Board of Trustees for the Seacoast Repertory Theatre in the capacity of Vice President.
Currently, Attorney Bosen sits on the Portsmouth’s Economic Development Commission. Attorney Bosen’s practice focuses on real estate, business law and civil ligation. He was received the readers choice award for the “Best Lawyer” in the seacoast in 2014. In his spare time, John enjoys Downhill and Nordic skiing, boating and golf.
A native of Westbury, New York, Attorney Mulligan received his B.A. from Columbia University and his law degree from the University of Maine. He has been admitted to the bar of the States of New Hampshire and Maine since 1995.
Attorney Mulligan's practice areas include business and commercial litigation, taxation, construction litigation, labor and employment law, business counseling and entity formation, and creditor's rights. Attorney Mulligan's practice also includes estate planning and administration, land use, and real estate.
Attorney Mulligan has represented clients before federal and state courts in New Hampshire and Maine, as well as before various federal, state, and local administrative agencies. He has been a resident of Portsmouth since 1995, and continues to participate in various community and charitable organizations there.
Attorney Howard grew up in Manchester, N.H. He received his B.A. and M.P.A. from the University of New Hampshire and his J.D. from University of New Hampshire School of Law. Attorney Howard recently joined Bosen & Associates, P.L.L.C. after working at a firm in Manchester since 2012. His practice focuses in the areas of business and commercial practices, real estate law, personal injury, and civil litigation.
Prior to law school, Attorney Howard taught in the Manchester School District for six years. While teaching he sat on several school and district-wide committees, and served as an alternative Manchester Education Association representative for his school.
Attorney Howard is licensed to practice law in the State of New Hampshire and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire. Attorney Howard is a graduate of the Leadership Greater Manchester class of 2014.
Attorney Ferrara is a native of Thetford, Vermont. She received her B.A. from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York in 2003, and her J.D. from the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts in 2006. After graduating from law school, Attorney Ferrara became a member of the New Hampshire Bar and a member of the Maine Bar in May 2018.
Attorney Ferrara lives with her husband and son in Epping, and enjoys running, traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Attorney Ferrara worked for a small firm in Norwich, Vermont after graduating from law school, and before moving to Portsmouth, NH in December of 2006. Upon moving to Portsmouth, Attorney Ferrara began her own law practice, before joining Bosen & Associates, P.L.L.C. in October, 2008.
Attorney Ferrara practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, real estate, and guardianship.
A native of Hinsdale, NH, Bernie W. Pelech graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1971. Prior to getting his J.D. at the New England Law School in 1978, he served the City of Portsmouth for 8 years as a teacher at the New Franklin Elementary School and an additional 8 years on the school board. He has been a member of the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar Associations since 1978.
Attorney Pelech brings to Bosen and Associates over 40 years of experience as the former partner of Wholey and Pelech and specializes in the practice areas of land-use, zoning and real estate acquisition. Attorney Pelech has appeared before local land use boards in excess of 2,000 times and has obtained approvals for numerous shopping malls, commercial and residential development of all types including Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
When not practicing law, Attorney Pelech enjoys wood working, fishing and spending time with his wife, Shawn, his children, John and Cate, and his six grandchildren.
